About Anxillary Data
From Feb 23rd 2007 conference call: Lee will deliver Video files ans CSV text anxillary data to the RAID drive on shore. We will write up a loader to stuff the anxillary data into EITS database tables.
Log Files
Log files hold the ancillary data. We had discussed with Lee that we wanted daily logs. Apparently (as of 2008-02-14), the logs are actually appended too until someone manually specifies that a new log should be created. 3 days of data log = 1MB file
Time threshold
Ancillary data is sampled at 1 minute interval. An annotation requires that there is a ancillary datum within +/- 5 minutes in order to be merged with it.
When PMT voltage goes above the trigger threshold it will begin to log at 10Hz. It will stop at the end of the recording period (i.e. no greater than 5 minutes)

Ancillary Database
The ancillary data is stored on the computer Somniosus in the EITS database. The database shema is very simple.
